I was born in California and raised in a military family that instilled in me a desire to serve my country. I joined the U.S. Army in 2003 when I was 18 and left for basic training immediately after graduating from high school. Since then, I have had the pleasure of traveling and living all over the country and the world. My military career took me as far as Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq, and I proudly served in three deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After ETS’ing from the Army in 2011, I took my skills in mathematics and made a move to the mortgage lending industry with the hope of helping those in my community, active duty military members, and veterans purchase their own homes.

In 2014, I was licensed as a loan officer in North Carolina and Nevada. The following year, I was named branch manager of my own team and in 2018, I took on the role of Area Manager, with teams located in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, and Las Vegas, Nevada.

My passion for providing top-quality customer service and my relentless devotion to helping my clients were noticed in my first year with Union Home Mortgage when I was named to the company’s exclusive President’s Club, an honor I have received every year since.

Team Turkovich specializes in VA loans, first-time home buyers, and overseas clients. My background in military service has helped me understand the trials and tribulations that come with being part of a military family and the obstacles that are unique to active-duty military members and veterans seeking homeownership.

I primarily operate my team out of our Las Vegas office. However, I regularly travel to Ft. Bragg throughout the year to visit and conduct in-person meetings with our clients in North Carolina.

I love making meaningful connections with my clients and getting involved in my community beyond the mortgage lending industry. Recently, my team made a donation of 500 headphones so that every child at a local elementary school could be prepared with the school supplies needed for distance learning. I’m an advocate for teaching financial literacy at a young age and supporting our veterans, especially in ways that will lead them to becoming homeowners and financially secure.

I’m a loyal partner to my clients, with a deep understanding of each person’s unique economic and life situation. I believe that personalized service, knowledge and communication are essential to being a mortgage professional.

I look forward to working with you!
